As these things go, one could do much, much worse than the Jonas Brothers. If someone were to slip a song from their new album into the middle of “Cheap Trick: Live At Budokan,” none of us would notice the difference.
An eyeroll at the mention of the name Jonas can be directly translated as: “I just realized I have aged out of the desirable record-buying demographic, and I was not asked whether I was ready to be this old, like I deep down kind of assumed I would be.”
This has been accepted as truth since time immemorial.
